Offered for sale here is a full run the KENT CCC ANNUAL - the Blue Book - from 1920 onwards ie 1920 to 1938 inc plus the last one in 1945.No annuals were issued between 1938 and 1945. TWENTY books in total. Each of the books is from the personal collection of the late Colin Cowdrey. The l condition of the books is not quite as good as the earlier Blue Books that we have listed from his collection but overall the books are atleast good with one or two very good copies.The spine for 1920,21,and 36 are missing.The covers have the odd mark and most of the spines oare faded to a greater or lesser ectent and the contents are in excellent .clean condition throughout. The run provides a comprehensive account of Kent cricket in the inter war years with the considerable bonus of the Cowdrey provenance. The Kent CCC Blue Book was first issued by the County in 1878 making it the first County year book to be issued and ran continuosly until 1945 except for breaks during the first and second world wars. Each book contains a list of members ,details of matches played in the previous season ,fixtures for the coming season etc ,etc. The early years are very rare and very collectalable. We are listing 40 Blue Books from the personal collection of the late Lord COLIN COWDREY.The books are not signed by him but were from his own collection and a certificate of authrnticity will be provided to all purchasers.Additionally all the books up to 1915 were previously owned by the renouned cricket collector Joe Goldman and have his bookplate affixed to the front pastedown Postage in the UK is by 2nd class signed for post.
