This volume comes from the collection I inherited from my great uncle, Brian Chapman who was a cricket journalist from after the second world war to the mid-70s, initially with the Daily Express and latterly with the Observer. While the boards generally good, there is a split to the top right of the spine of 2cm. A little bit of fading to gilt on the front, more advanced on the spine. The hinge on the front has split but on the back is good. Some browning to the pages but not too bad for its age.
