For sale here is an 1898 Wisden Publisher's Hardback in absolutely immaculate condition - probably the best that we have seen. The book has had no restoration. The front and rear boards are in flat, bright, almost as new condition. To be really picky there are two tiny bumps - one at the top of the front board in the centre and another approximately three quarters of the way down on the right hand side. The gilt is as new to the front board. The spine and spine gilt are in fabulous condition. The front and rear hinges are extremely strong and the yellow end papers, both front and rear, are bright and unmarked. The contents and photographic plate are complete, original, unmarked and in fine condition. A fabulous copy.
