Offerd for sale is an 1878 Wisden in it's original wrappers and in GOOD PLUS overall condition. The front and rear wrappers are a little marked and worn and have had a little restoration work around the perimeters. The spine has recently been expertly rebacked using paper of the same vintage as the original which blends in perfectly with the original wrappers. The contents are complete ,original,clean and unmarked with no foxing and in excellent condition A very rare book - 1878 is virtually impossible to source in it's original state.As far as I can see this is the first time an 1878 in it's original wrappers ,and not rebound,has been offered for sale on Wisden Auction A nice copy.
