Hard cover, ex-libris. This is a decent book offered at a decent price. It is in generally good condition overall, but given its age and rarity it has some issues that I will try to describe fully. Covers a little worn commensurate with age, but generally good. Front cover and gilt in decent order, rear cover decent, spine gilt fading a little and library markings at bottom slightly obscures end of “Almanack” and “1941”. Corners slightly bumped. Page block a little grubby at top. Inside front hinge weak. Ink line on inside cover advertisement at bottom and very small pen mark at top right; barcode sticker at bottom of page 3; library markings on title page; library marks in writing at top of page 6, which also has three small tears; small library stamp at top of page 9 and page 25. Top of first dozen and a half pages ever so slightly ragged (look as though they may have had to be split after printing). Otherwise, contents generally good to very good. The rarest of the WWII Wisdens, with only 800 hard cover books printed. The pictures should tell their own story, but please ask if you would like more or have any questions.
Postage will be by Royal Mail special delivery and is FREE, but happy to discuss alternative postage arrangements. I am also listing a variety of books from 1864 to 1945, including hardbacks for 42, 43, 44 and 45, so if you have any queries about other years, please feel free to ask. I would like the books, which are a mix of facsimiles, rebinds, or originals, to go to a good home, so this book is offered at what I believe is a very reasonable price.
There are no questions for this listing.
