This 1897 Publisher's Hardback  Wisden  is in fine  condition. 

This was the second edition to be published in hardback and is a really scarce book - particularly in this condition.

The brown front and rear boards are really clean and bright with no marks or creases and very sharp corners. The gilt is very bright to the front board.

The spine is really clean and tidy   with bright gilt and no marks or creases.

Internally the book is really immaculate -  both hinges are very strong   and the front and rear yellow endpapers are  very bright and unmarked.

The remaining  contents are complete,really clean and unmarked and in fine   condition with perhaps just a hint of sunning at the very top of the pages.

The book has had no restoration.
