Pages and spines intact in all volumes, with no writing on covers or inside pages.
Most of the volumes have mild “bowing” of the spines, but this is more severe in the 1954 and 1963 volumes (see photos of these worst examples).
The dust-jacket on the only hard back volume, 1971, is in excellent condition.
There is some “foxing” on the outer edges of the pages (see photos) and the covers of the older volumes, but this does not encroach on the text parts of the pages.
